~ We are so delighted that you have stumbled upon our little site of fashion. gogo&juju mainly focuses on the fashion and tends of Vancouver (found on the west coast of Canada).

Vancouver
~ As the benevolent fashion gods reside in cities such as Milan, Paris, New York, Tokyo, and London, how does a city, such as Vancouver, respond to their continual change of flavour, design, and statement? One must consider the following facts of Vancouver:
a, Vancouver is in the temporate rainforest, which means gloomy wet weather
b, Vancouver has a terribly long distance radius from any possible fashion god city.
c, it would take a boat or a plane to get to any of these admirable cites (minus New York)... you know... with the Altantic and Pacific Ocean in the way

Vancouver style
~ Over the past decade, Vancouver started to respond to actual style due to the wonderous phenomenon of globalization. Peole from a variety of ages stepped outof plain windbreakers, oversized Club Monacco sweaters, and sport shoes and emerged out with their own style. A variety of stylish people started roaming around the streets. But we have to wonder: does Vancouver have its own style? When one thinks of London, Paris, New York, one sees certain fashion traits that these cities pertain. However, does Vancouver its own trait? Or is it a copy-cat, a cheap imitation sellout product of some scheming corporate company... like... walmart.

Mission!
~ We! gogo and juju (yes, and our real names are just as ridiculous) have decided to take on this challenge, to investigate this question at hand. From people on the streets to store front displays to local designers and more!

Why are we doing this?
~ There a couple of reasons. One of the main reasons is because Vancouver does hae a genuine style. However, it is nearly impossible to explain, by recording and observing, gogo&juju might be able to finally put it down in words. The second reason is that this will be a great research for gogo who is a fashion student. The third and fourth reason is that not only are we passionate about fashion, style, and pop culture, we also find this mission a great stress-relief for us post-secondary students. XD
